Manipulation
Chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which trained specialists (chiropractors) use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture works by stimulating the body's various systems, acupuncture can help to resolve pain, and improve sleep, digestive function, and sense of well-being.
Digital Imaging
Before any adjustments are done, Dr. Risner will conduct X-Rays, Ultrasounds, etc. to examine your conditions and create a healing plan for you.
Intersegmental Traction
The intersegmental traction therapy table mobilizes the spinal column while simultaneously stretching the ligaments and muscles.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Electrical muscle stimulation, aka EMS, e-stim, or electrostim, is an adjunct physical therapy modality often used to reignite muscles' ability to contract. Reduces inflammation.
Cox-flexion and
Distraction Method
Cox Technique (aka flexion-distraction or F/D) is non-surgical, non-hospital, gentle, well-researched, well-referenced chiropractic spinal adjusting manipulation which, research shows, drops intradiscal pressures to -192 mmHg and increases the foraminal area.
Ankle Adjustments
Chiropractic care is a very effective therapy for treating ankle pain and injury. It is non-invasive and a natural approach to healing that allows the body to heal itself.
Hip & Shoulder
A chiropractor can help detect improper lifting techniques, shoulder, hip and gait imbalances, muscle weaknesses and overuse patterns. After a thorough evaluation, the chiropractor can use this information to form a specific care plan to treat, rehab and maintain proper joint health.
